1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

This is about as beautiful of a classic bug as you are going to find. True Desert car, came from the original owner out of Reno, NV. NO hard rust. Just very light surface rust, that you see in pictures. Never stored outside. Seems to have original paint, interior looks to be refinished.Guy I bought this from drove this car home from Reno, NV to Louisville, KY. Literally drove the Bug, not car hauler, or roll back. When he got home he resealed the entire engine. Engine DOES NOT leak. I think 38,000 is the original miles, but there is no guarantee on that.Since I have bought the bug, I have done nothing but put an electric fuel pump on and drove it around the town, and showed her off. When it runs she runs fine. Bug doesn't really like when you have to stop. Have to have the gas going or pop the clutch to get it back running. No big deal but if you were gonna drive it daily, I would get a tune up on her. DRIVES LIKE SILK, SUPER FUN TO DRIVE. I can see why he didn't have any trouble driving it home. Its comfortable.Headlights, horn, break lights, hazards work. Speedo, and gas gauge work. BRAKES WORK GREAT, CLEAN OIL, DOES NOT SMOKERadio, turn signals, emergency break, do not. I have done nothing to check them.Unsure of heat, or other lever's I am unsure what they do.
