1967 VW Beetle NO RESERVE
1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description
Re-listed due to previous auction winner request.
Up for sale is my project-level 1967 VW Bug! I purchased this beetle to begin a full restoration. Unfortunately, a few years later, I found that I've not ever worked on the beetle, so it's time for a new home! It has a clean, California title, currently in Non-op status. This auction has NO reserve!
When I first got the Beetle, I drove it home, but it has not run since. I had jumped the vehicle, it sputtered a bit, then died, and now won't turn at all. I believe it's the starter, but I have not ever found out officially. It has a relatively new battery in it, but key in ignition, nothing! Auction is for everything pictured, including the tow bar, and various parts. Also included are vented front windows for both driver and passenger side, as I had intended to swap them.
Beetle has already been switched over to 12v, and the previous owner said the engine had been bored to 1533cc.
There is a minor dent on the rear passenger fender (included in additional pictures). Body pan has some rust, but the heater channels are solid (see picture link below).
Further pictures of the Beetle are located here: htt ps: // drive. google. com/ open? id = 1i2TWnoE_W3B311MxIvCICwusrExF9UtF (remove spaces).
Beetle is located in Ridgecrest, California, and is available for viewing at any time during the auction. Deposit must be made within 48 hours of sale close.
I will work with any shipping agency you hire, but I will need payment in full before they pick up. I can deliver the beetle to Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and or Las Vegas or surrounding areas, but I will charge .50/mile extra, and will require full payment plus distance before I deliver. Payment must CLEAR before delivery or pick up. Sale is final, and vehicle is sold AS IS.
