1967 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Deluxe Description

TRUE BARN FINDMUST SEE!
I pulled this and 15 other VW’s out of a barn full personal collection. It all was a find of a lifetime for us. I have been reluctant to sell this one but have a real desire to build one of the others I have and this will help to fund that project. This bus is way better than most of the ones I have seen offered as projects. The bus was green and I am in the process of taking it down to the original Titian Red color. I do have the rear deck lid and apron. They were removed during getting the color down to original. All the glass is very good and most all Sekurit original glass. The headliner is actually very good except for a rip in the rear of the bus. I think it would clean up nicely. I have the front seats and a rear seat. The cargo floor is very solid as compared to most. The rocker by the doors is very good also. YOu can see the small area of rust on the cargo floor in the pictures. The dash is nice and uncut and complete. Most of the original interior panels are there also with lots of hard to find trim pieces. The roof glass is all good!! The nose has been bumped at some point and has has a spare tire mounted on it in the past. The steering wheel was changes to a bug wheel over the years. The front floors and dog legs are very very nice! The bus was stored inside and that stands to reason why it is not in bad condition for one of these buses. The battery tray has some rust but not totally gone. I have pictured the largest section of rust on the outer body. There is an old repair on the left rear quarter from in the past but does not seem to be related to any rust issues. The belly pan has an area about 8” that is rusted. Otherwise just surface rust. There is no motor with the bus. A couple of the brakes are locked up. Being a 1967 is rare in itself!!! Last of the good ones!!!!I think the pics will show the overall condition of the bus. Feel free to ask any questions and rude comments are not needed. You are welcome to view the bus PRIOR to bidding, as your opinion could vary. I have seen worse bus projects for more than this one is priced. This is a BUY IT NOW or best offer so don’t miss out!!
