1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Description

For sale is my '69 and a halfKarmann Ghia Convertible. In my opinion this is the best year of all ghia convertibles to have if you're looking for the full driving experience. This is the last year of the early body style, first year of IRS suspension which makes these cars handle amazing and a true dream to drive and lastly because of the glass fold out back widow. I will truly miss this car but just cannot have everything.

Body: Paint is over 25 years old and looks really good considering with an authentic shine the way it would have when new rather than the fake shine a new paint job gives with too much clearcoat. This car has always been garage kept and adult owned, Extremely solid, never hit, One small spot on the rear passenger pan that I mention just to make sure everything is known about the car however its not a concern that needs to be addressed anytime in the near future.

Interior: All original interior and in good shape for its age. The convertible top is also good and works great.

Mechanical: 1600 dp gives this Ghia all the power you need to have a blast. Fires right up and runs great, freshly tuned up as well.

Thecar is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. The car is available to see and inspect any time before auction ends. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, with remainder due within 7 days, via cash, cleared check, money order or bank transfer.
