1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Description

This auction is for a 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit turbo diesel, the car is a virtually rust free and previously titled in Florida. I bought the car as a project and don't have the time for it due to new job duties. I don't know much about the history of the car as I bought it in it's current condition. The car has BMW "bottle cap" wheels and Raceland coil overs that do not appear to have ever been driven on the road, they're brand new. Someone transplanted what I assume is a Volkswagen Quantum turbo diesel since it has a mechanical fuel pump. The engine runs but needs some work, I'm guessing the injection pump or the pump timing has to be set. The car will have to be transported because the car doesn't run well enough to drive. Brakes are functional and all four wheels turn freely. The clutch works but the shifter bushings need replacement. The starter is bad so I've pull started it to verify motor condition and clutch/trans functionality. There is no battery with the car.
