For Sale one of the kind 1988 VW CABRIO. 1.8l
The good:
Car was painted Rosso Dragon Red on 02/22/2019 also the body trim that goes along with the car was removed and covered to give it one of the kind unique look.
New roof and headliner was installed half a year ago.
New wheels and tires were installed 1 year ago.
Engine has been maintained, oil changed.
New battery installed last year.
Runs and drives good when it warms up.
No rust/dents/scratches on the outside body.
Full detail, compound and wax was done on 3/16/2019
No smoking inside.
The bad:
Car needs the roof lines to be installed because ours were wrong size. Need 1 back roof line and one on right side cost around $100.
Need new injectors cost around $200.
Power steering and AC is not working.
There is knocking sound coming from suspension front right side.
Car needs to warm up until it runs good.
The battery and oil light comes on because the wires are old. Alternator is working.
Needs new serpentine belt tensioner because this one doesn't line up perfectly and makes whining noise.
I have to install a hood latch that is why the hood sticks out on pictures.
I have a lot of replacement spare parts for this car also the rear window for the roof. Car was my project, but unfortunately I have to sell it as is.
