I'm selling because my son will be driving next year and he wants a car.The Bug drives nice. When I purchased, I was told it had a freeway flier gear in it.The Bendix AM radio still works, but disconnected for the Custom Autosound system (contol under dash,black box in trunk).
Concerns:one heater cable brokendime size ding on windshieldquarter size rust holes in front door jambs (picture)rear bumper chrome rustright front fender well 2 inch dia. rust (picture)5 inch scratch on right rear fender filled in with paintthe milege is what is the odometer, I think engine was changed out during restoration..as of this listing the brake lights stay on, I traced to switch. I will replace.
