1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

This is a 1966 VW Beetle made in Germany. The motor is a 1918 cc with engle cam and Big Bore heads 40 mm dual carburetors serpentine belt system. Oil cooler with an electric fan and thermal switch. The car never overheats even when standing still for hours in the summer. Also, full flow oil system connected to the valve covers with oil breather. The ignition system is the Magna spark system from CB performance, two pumps to the gas pedal and cranks right up, even if you leave the car parked for a month. The block I bought at GEX has about 2,500 miles on the motor. The car has an adjustable front end and disc brakes in the front, drums on the rear, and you can lower the front end or raise it in less than 10 minutes. The wheels are 16-inch Porsche alloys, not replicas. Sony radio renegade speakers by Rockford Fosgate.I have owned the car for over 20 years and barely use it which is why I'm selling it and would like the car to go to someone who appreciates VW's and a car that is well-built. I built it for myself and not to resell that's why I've owned it for so many years. The interior is kept all original and only modification is the speakers and the radio in the glove box. The floor pans are solid with no rust. The car was painted 6 years ago with Dupont paint and garage kept. Will not accept bids from bidders with less than five reviews and NO PayPal.
