I’ve poured a lot of love into this old Westy. I’d recommend you watch the 1 min overview video I’ve linked to get a sense of some of the work I’ve done to the vehicle over the last few years. If you’d like to learn about all of the upgrades in detail, as well as review the labor and maintenance receipts you can find this information in the links below.

Summary
This Westy has been loved and proven to be a great companion vehicle for my adventures across the US over the last few years. It has always been garaged in California when not in use and the interior/exterior reflect these optimal storage conditions. I’ve owned the Westy for about 3 years now and spent hundreds of hours improving and restoring it which has been a great pleasure to me. The previous long-term owner was a college professor who used the vehicle sparingly with his wife, and so this Westy has been in good hands, gently driven and well-maintained throughout its history. The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition with all recent services performed by the professionals at Valley Wagonworks in San Rafael, California. I would invite any potential owner to conduct a pre-purchase inspections as a means to verify.
I am reluctant to part with my VW, but I am currently living abroad and it’s time for me to let it go.
I know the vehicle quite well and I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
