1966 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description

Hello, I purchased this awesome Electric Shorty Bus here on eBay in February (eBay item # 202584293369), for $19,650.00. It's truly an awesome custom ride, but I'm losing my warehouse space in a few weeks and just don't have a great place for it. My intent was to take it car shows as a company vehicle, but some changes have impacted that plan, so the Bus is just sitting. I'm hoping that the Bus goes to a fellow Vdub enthusiast who can get it all sorted out and have some fun it!
Given that I just recently purchased, my history and knowledge about the Bus is fairly limited. Here is the descriptionof the Bus from the seller I purchased it from in February.

You're looking at a one of a kind show piece. This 1966 VW has had a few modifications. This car was custom built in our shop (Kooky Rides). We specialize in very unique rides.Has been shortened dramatically, has been converted to electric drive Via Nissan Leaf drive train. 120 HP and 120 lbs of torque. Yes it will wheelie if asked. Very very fast and torquey.Custom paint base clear house of color, custom powder coated wheels, leather interior ground up restoration. Custom Wilwood brakes. Years of work and sick amount of cash tied up here. This van is truly a show piece and as you can imagine get the attention of everyone that walks buy. Drive it, show it, or use it for your advertising purpose. About the drive train: This van used a 2011 Nissan Leaf with low miles for a donor nearly all electronics are still in used as all computers even still has the obd2 port. drive train should be treated as a Nissan Leaf. The bus was striped down to bare metal and all sheet metal damages were cut out and replaced. There are several YouTube videos on the internet showing this build just google search "vw bus Nissan leaf electric " you will find lots of info on this build. Now for the BAD!!: During completion of this van, it was at our upholstery shop and the tech installing the front gas pedal cover ran a screw through the wiring harness to the pedal. wiring has been repaired. The real issue is because we left all the electronic in place the CPU/ body control module saw this as a threat and put the car in service mode. What this means is it will require some work. The BCM (body control module) will need to be reset via dealer cpu or replaced and programmed VIS deal cpu. The van does still function and it will drive fine but has problems with the initial turning on of the car. you must push the start button several (sometime lots) of time repeatedly to get it turned on. Once you get past the start up it drive and operates as normal. We have keep this van in our shop for a while hoping to find time to fix it but we are so far backed up on customer cars it does not look like we will every find time for it. Man ours alone we have nearly $80k dollars in R and D for this build so we know there will be a loss here. I know there are many of you out there on Youtube that have been waiting for this day and here it is FOR SALE.
