1959 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

1959 Volkswagen Beetle Ragtop in good "Daily Driver" condition. Not perfect by any means, but reliable and fun as is, or with some work would easily be a great car. Attached below is a Youtube video of the car. The car features many original parts including Sapphire AM radio, steering wheel and column, shifter, rear window popouts, jack, etc. Has Karman Ghia front disc brakes, Super Beetle rear drums. chrome locking mag wheels, battery cut-off switch under the back seat, slightly lowered in front for a semi- "Cal-Look", Sewfine interior. Repainted three years ago, it's a nice "ten footer" paint job, but close up there is quite a bit of orange peel. Almost rust-free, with only a few areas of surface rust on the tail pipes, bumpers and a small area on the driver's inner door. Starts, runs, stops well. There are small dents on the passenger side running board and fender, as well as the front bumper (as shown in the last few pictures). All lights, signals, horn, wipers, etc work as they should. All gauges work, but only some are presently connected. (speedometer, tachometer, oil and generator lights). Clear Texas title in my name.
