1986 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia Description

Factory Westfalia Syncro VanagonPrice: 28,900
Factory Original Westfalia Syncro, with factory AC, power steering and removable middle bench seat, so you carry up to 6 people. Exterior is professional Rhino Lined, then painted black and silver, then clear coated. Most people don’t even realize it’s rhino till they are a few feet away. The clear coat gives it a good look and added protection. The Syncro, Westfalia, and 4WD logos are also painted on, I had a stencil made for each one, then had it painted in and removed the stencil.

Bad
Rack and pinion leaks a little, I add fluid once or twice a year.
Tent canvas is not perfect, looks to be original, has signs of use and age
No fridge
Trip and Odometer don’t work.
Just like most older vans there a few small areas of rust
The tires show I have put many fun miles on this van and it is about time for a new set if you are going on a long road trip.
I like the gray wall paper but if it’s a deal breaker it is easy to remove, it is just peel and stick.
Overall it a good running van, we have driven it almost every other day for the past 2 years without any problems. Reason for selling, have 2 vans and can’t drive both. If you have any questions let me know. Walk around video available upon request. Thanks for looking.
