1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

Hello,

1966 BUG:

Up for sale is my long-time love, transportation, companionship, beauty, and show winning 1966 accessorized bug. I have owned her for 30 years. She originally came from Florida. The first owner was the father and he gave his daughter the bug. She drove the bug from Florida to California, after two months she sold the car to a liquor owner, and in a month the liquor owner sold the car to me. My bug was my daily driver for 4 years until I had her completely restored. Restoration was completed in 1994 and I started buying some accessories and became frenzy over accessories.

My bug has over 225 accessories and some are Rarest of the Rare. She was featured Hot VWs in Rarest of the Rare article. I have been collecting accessories from different countries and a lot from Brazil. I have been named accessory whore, accessory freak, accessory nut, and Mr. VW Accessory. My bug has won so many awards even Best of The Show. So, after 30 years of owning her, she just sits sadly in my mini VW/Antique museum for so many years, and I love driving my VW bus. I felt it was time to let her go to someone who will appreciate her very much and display her at shows or museum.
My bug runs on a very clean stock 1600cc motor and only has 2,850 miles.

1972 ALPEN KREUZER:
Also for sale is a very cool original 1972 Alpen Kreuzer tent trailer from Holland as a "COMBO/PACKAGE" with the bug. I am the third owner. The trailer was originally imported from Holland and I have the original documents/brochures. The trailer pops out from the side and can sleep 6 to 10 people. Normally 4 would be comfortable and how do we sleep 10 people? 2 people sleeps on the trailer bed, 2 people sleeps on the side bed of the trailer, 2 people sleeps on the floor, and 4 people sleeps in the additional zipped tent with vinyl floor attached to the tent. It’s amazing to see how the trailer pops out to fit 10 people.

The trailer is complete with original room additional tent, awning, poles, manuals, hubcaps, curtains, GAZ propane, GAZ stove, GAZ lantern, 2 double plaid mattresses, toilet, key for 4 locks, stakes with bag, VW mud flaps, original cover, and extra cover. The trailer comes with original stabilizing jacks mounted on the trailer with jack crank handle. In the photos, you will see the entry door showing holes from animal chewing through for food. It happened with the second owner. I have an extra fabric from my other Alpen trailer that I use as parts. The front storage compartment door does show few dents that can be patched up with fiberglass repair kit. All electric works and the trailer plugs are original European round 7 prong.

The bug and trailer are currently registered, and I have clean titles on hand. You will see two wheels on the trailer showing blue/white with white wall tires. The wheel matches 1966 bug. I personally would like to sell my accessorized bug with Aplen trailer as a complete package. Contact me if you want more detailed photos of the manuals, and documents.
The sale is for serious buyer and what you see in the photos is what you get. I know my price and what I have invested into the bug including restoration, tons of accessories, and tent trailer. Please ask me questions before you bid or buy. The sale is sold "AS IS."

You are responsible for pick up or shipping. I can deliver with extra fee depending on the location. Both are located in Paso Robles, CA. Good luck!!!!!
