1972 Volkswagen Beetle-New Description
You can tell it's been a well cared for, unabused car. Has $4,000 in mechanical receipts dated 2018. It functions great.
EXTERIOR: It's a cute little car. It shows great when you walk up on it. Body is very solid. Everything fits right. The doors, trunk and hood click shut. The paint overall is glossy. The hood has been polished thin in spots and had nicks touched up. Tires are new, the chrome trim on the wheels are excellent. Rear bumper and most the chrome looks new. Front bumper has some freckles. All the glass is crystal clear and rubber gaskets are excellent. New windshield, rear window has electric defroster.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is very nice. I especially noticed all the little bits and pieces are not broken. The knobs, handles, seatbelts, seat hinge covers are commonly broken. The door panels, armrests and window cranks look brand. The seats are in excellent condition. The dash area is excellent with the exception of it does not have a radio. Overhead the dome light works, the white headliner is in excellent shape. The carpets look like they are new, has sewn edges. the trunk compartment is fully carpeted very tidy does have the spare underneath the mat the engine compartment variflame because the 1600 motor is new
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: New, completely rebuilt 1600 cc 4 cylinder dual port motor. New heads. New fuel pump, filter and hoses. New metal fuel line. New distributor, restored carburetor. We have the receipt this work was done 7-6-18. The engine and compartment is also very clean, tidy and painted nice.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Also very tidy. Nothing broken. The washer bottle is hooked up, air box is proper. The metal is clean and painted. Has new carpet liner neatly installed. Spare is properly mounted under the carpet. Has new fuel tank.
UNDERSIDE: New rear shocks. New clutch cable. Front steering components look new. The floor pan and rockers look completely solid. Exhaust looks new. Heat ducts are hooked up.
These cars are loved worldwide. A great way to enjoy the collector car hobby without spending a lot of money. Easy to maintain too!
