1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

1971 California VW Beetle one family owned since new. Car is 99% rust free only rust spots I could find were in back lower edge of front wheel wells. And one nickel size spot coming through on lower left rear side below the rear passengers window. Other than that rock solid pans and every where else. Overall very straight body with some dents here and there. Unmolested survivor with 111200 original miles. Car was sitting for 11 years stored indoors from the original owners. I rebuilt the carb, put a new fuel pump and fuel lines on it, put some fresh 91 octane fuel in it and now it runs and drives excellent. Purrs like a kitten. Clutch feels great. Brakes are working ok could use a little attention but will work fine for easy transport. All lights are working with the exception of the turn signals probably a flasher or fuse. The gas gauge and horn even work! Has original spare tire and jack. Even has all the under hood cardboard in very good shape for being 49 years old! Perfect candidate for easy restoration. Car has a clear California title on a current non-op no back fees ready to license and drive no smog required! Even includes original California blue plates for that nostalgic look.
