DAILY DRIVER. Custom 1966 VW Beetle - Daily driver. currently registered and insured; pink slip in hand. I have had this VW for a couple of years- I dropped in a rebuilt 1600 when I purchased the bug. I have been having fun with this bug, cruising almost every weekend. I pick up the kids from school with the bug. it turns heads wherever it goes.

  • BADS - paint - I have won many awards at shows with this bug... but, the paint is not perfect. I had to touch up the front fenders in my back yard when I first bought it (see pics). It's a used bug and it looks great!
  • BADS - driver side left side foot step the rubber is coming off. I've been saying that I was going to fix it for the last 2 years that I have had the bug.. haha... but i just keep cruisin it.
  • BADS - FYI, rear deck lid comes into contact with the custom rear bumper; some paint has come off the very bottom of the rear deck lid (please see picture). so you have to push down on the bumper when you shut it and it won't come into contact. you can't see the rear deck lid contact point when the rear deck lid is shut.
  • BADS - needs a new speedometer cable.
  • BADS - the radio does not work. it's not wired in. was going to put a original looking retro vw radio in it.. but I just keep cruisin it...haha..
