1991 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon GL Description

1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Vehicle must be picked up or shipped by April 20th, 2020. Failure to pick up or ship by April 20th, 2020 will result in buyer being responsible for finding and paying for a storage facility within the 33616 zip code (South Tampa, FL). Buyer will also be responsible for moving the vehicle from seller's address to that local storage facility if unable to pick up or ship by April 20th, 2020. A list of mechanical problems needing attention is shown below. Nothing is urgently needed. This van runs great as is.

- 117,121 miles- very good condition
- runs great; drove from NY to FL in November 2019 with no problems- water cooled, gas engine- automatic transmission- center console overhead A/C- queen size sleeping area (with rear seat folded flat)
- seats 7 total (including driver)
- removable mid-row seats- power windows- power locks- power mirrors- after-market roof vent fan (powered with vehicle's battery)- after-market interior overhead lights- all maintenance records included- maintenance/repair manual included
- Issues/Problems Needing Attention:-- A/C system needs a new relay. Compressor, fans and switches all work. Compressor kicks on only when 12 volt power is directly applied to it. A bad relay is the likely problem.-- Fuel vent system may be blocked. After running on the highway for 2 hours straight, it may be necessary to pop the gas cap to relieve built up vacuum. There is likely a plugged vent pipe in the fuel filler neck between the gas cap and the fuel tank.
-- Fresh air/Heater Blower Fan Motor - inoperative. Needs to be replaced. The rear heater blower unit works great and can easily heat the entire van. Defrosting the windows is not possible however due to the bad front blower motor.- Very minor damage to the right rear bumper. No damage to the body of the van.- Power locks and Power mirrors not operating. All worked in the past. I believe a fuse is blown but the fuse is very hard to reach (inside dash panel).
