Up for sale is a collector's 1966 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, factory Yukon Yellow. This is a rare opportunity not too many convertibles in this color combination with the tan interior for 1966.Clean FL Title! This is not a show car but a reallygood driver!
This car drives exceptionally well, you can take it to the cars and coffee meets & for weekend cruises. Definitely gets a lot of attention & questions. The Beetle is powered by it's 1600cc engine, air cooled. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. Engine Bay is well detailed. Has a nice dual exhaust that sounds really nice. Mechanically the car is sound! See the video.Its been garage kept. All the exterior chromes, trim, latches, bumperettes are in good shape. Underneath the floor pans are in great shape!
The Interior is splendid and contrast well to the exterior paint, Tan upholstery was tastefully done, and overall condition looks good. Odometer shows 41,907 miles, it's believed that's original, but since I'm not the first owner its hard for me to guarantee that. It does have its normal wear and tear like any other car. It does have some minor paint imperfections and minor bubbles. That's why I say the paint is not show quality but a good driver. If it was show quality I would've listed it at $25K+.
