Where to start on this one? I bought this truck 10yrs ago from the second owner.Over the years I went through a careful hobby restoration project. As a new father our family has outgrown this vehicle. It was a fun journey working on this MK1 Volkswagen, however it's time to move on to the next one.

The good and the not so good. This truck is fun to drive and has had many hours of time restoring this to the best of my ability. Headlight wiring for example has been wired new with a fuse and relay, it's a know problem these vintage vehicle having poor electrical issues and dim lighting. Headlight on a relay fixes this problem.
The one main issue I need to disclose is that this truck has too much black smoke?, Maybe the pump is turned up too much? I'm not sure. Also it is burning oil, and i do not know why. No leaks on the ground at all.
Starts up and drives easily, and the cooling system is solid.I suspect the turbo seals?
Low miles on the engine rebuild, new rings, all gaskets, seals replaced. Inter-cooler was added to improve performance durability. Pyrometer is also installed along with analog oil pressure/boost gauge. Boost is always below 10psi.
At this point i have had my fun with this vehicle and would like to see it go to another Volkswagen enthusiast. All sales are Final this is being sold As-is there are no returns. A vehicle of this vintage needs care and attention, this is NOT a Honda Civic.
