Im selling my bus. I considered selling it 6-7 years ago but my girls convinced me not to. I have owned it for the last 25 years or so ( bought it in Redding,CA) and it has always been garaged. We snowbirded from mn to az every winter and would make the drive across country with it every winter and spring. Its very clean. I haven't done a frame up restore on it but its pretty close. I've seen nicer online on auction sites, but never in person. Over the years I have been to countless salvage yards combing over buses and buying odds and ends to make it more complete and always intent on keeping it as stock as possible. Recently,I had developed an oil leak so I opted to pull the engine and have it rebuilt. During that time I learned the heater boxes were from a different year than the manifolds so I returned it to stock. While doing that I sandblasted and repainted the engine compartment and then ended up powder coating all the tin and shrouds. I only point this out to convey Ive always been that way with this bus. Everything ever done to it has been done thorough and done right. I will attempt to list its many attributes but hopefully the pictures do it justice. If someone wants more Ill take more! Everything on it works. Nothing is jerry rigged or wired or duct taped or whatever people do to buses over the years. It has the original snap in screens, snap on privacy curtains, slide on awning, original toilet box, childs cot, center table. Its all there! The gauges work, the fridge has been redone and charged with ammonia and runs off its own battery and its own solenoid. The heater and defrost both work and the fan and underbody hoses are also updated. All the upholstery has been redone other than the bed cushions. Carpet, front seats and all door and interior panels are new. Kick panels, roof top tent, weatherstrips, floor mats, water pump for sink, headliner, stereo, exhaust, dual carbs. Im just typing and thinking. Im sure there's a ton I'm not thinking off. There was some rust under the battery box so i had a new one put in. The fuel tank was sent out and redone so I replaced all the seals and filler tube. Its just cared for, and it runs well and it looks great and everyone you see waves and people comment and want to ask about it. Ill miss it and Im sure some hippy will reach out on social media and grill me for not giving it away but its worth what I'm asking. Maybe even more. Depending on where it sells Id be willing to work out a deal on delivering it on a final roadtrip.
