1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

1964 Volkswagen convertible we have owned for 26 years.I was driving it 15 years ago then put it in the garage to sit until now. Downsizing my life. Took the 1600 dual port out years ago to install a new rear tail pan ( one on car dented) the one I got was old looking but never used when I got it 25 years ago, was told it was NOS . I have 2 convertible top frames, original front and rear seats, convertible engine lid with drain pan, rear glass window with frame, front bow interior light, extra bumpers, original steering wheel, 4 original wheels and hubcaps, the 1600 dual port engine with original air cleaner, all keys work door, ignition and front hood lock. This was a fun great running bu, trans shifted great with no noise or grinds. all lights worked, . I have the inside armrests for door panels

The doors and windows work good, no sagging of body, the front floors are solid, the rears need replaced.

A big bonus is this car has a clear Florida title in my name matching vin on trans tunnel.

These old wide 5 vw's are cool and going up in price. I have a lot more small parts I am finding to go with car, New wood header, used wood header, new black top, new black top boot. Have a rear top wood bow also.

brakes are not working now, I have a master to go with car. If you have a shipper pick it up make sure they transport non runners so they don't have a melt down when they get here.

Paypal deposit only, cash for balanc, no checks. Bank wire if your far away.

I have a period correct complete 4 cyl Porsche engine with dual webers that I will sell for an EXTRA $2500 , a 4500 engine at least.
