Late 1967 Volkswagen SO42 Westfalia Camper

Split Window Bus

This is a running/driving/stopping bus. Could be a daily driver if needed.

TN title in hand.

All the lights work. Speedo works fine. Gas gauge is not currently working.

Rare elephant ear mirrors.

Original key works all locks and ignition.

Lots of new parts.

Newly rebuilt 1641 Engine with less than 20 miles on it.

Dual Kradon Carbs.

Stainless steel custom hideaway muffler.

Newly rebuilt big nut transmission from Rusty Bottom Garage. Less than 20 miles.

This includes rebuilt reduction boxes. Taller 4th gear for highway driving.

Freshly powder coated early 15" "Crows Feet" wheels.

New General Grabber AT 205/75/15 tires

Complete rear brake job.

Front brakes were fine with no issues. This bus wasn't off the road very long before I got it.

New battery

New shifter bushings.

New driver side tie rod ends.

Front end with new grease and in great shape.

Gas tank clean with no problems.

Almost complete interior in good shape. (Maybe missing small things)

Front seats need recovered.

Pop top works perfectly. Canvas has been replaced at some point and is in great shape.

Body is straight with less than normal rust for the East Coast.

Nose is perfect!

Front floors have been patched.

Driver outer rocker needs replaced. Inner portion looks very good.

Cargo doors lower skin needs replaced. (Have one funky green replacement)

Passenger rear corner needs work.

Driver lower dog legs needs replaced.

Frame is solid and so is the cargo floor.

Correct year front and rear bumpers.

Would not sell but decided to move in a different direction.
