1974 Volkswagen Thing Type 181 Description

This 1974 VW Thing was an Arizona car originally, towed behind a motorhome. We purchased it in 1995, it has been kept in a garage when not driving. New tires purchased 12 years ago but very little wear, used mainly for "cruising" on nice summer days. The mileage says 41,000 but it was towed and odometer unhooked so not sure on that. The body is sound, it had been undercoated before we purchased it, top is perfect, we have side windows but they are cloudy. Comes with jack and spare tire. Some tiny spots of rust as seen in pics, chrome on headlights etc very very good. It has a heater but not working right now. Wired for towing. Runs great, brakes good, transmission good. Just don't use it much anymore!
