1966 VW Beetle Classic - Show Car Winner!
1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description
Take this restored beauty to car shows and win! I did. She took "Best of the Bunch" in a local Volkswagen car show and 2nd place in another car show where she was up against a fancy sexy European sports car in the Foreign Car Division. This head turner is an amazing car! The only thing that is missing is that new car smell, but she still smells sweet and is very lovable and fun to drive. This car is a beautiful barn find that has had a complete and careful ground up restoration by the previous owner. She only has 38,612 miles on her, so she still has lots of life left for her golden years. The restorer of this beauty spent a small fortune to get to this level of quality. According to NADA (National Auto Dealers Guide) the High Retail on this car is $21,800. I am willing to let it go for far less as I need to get space in my garage. Maybe YOU will be the new proud owner.
She runs like new! These items are new or were replaced at the time of restoration:

Note: The heater components are nearly all there, however they are not connected. I drove the car on some of the coldest Illinois winter days when the temp was near zero and was comfortable in my coat and gloves. It would not take a lot to finish the heater hook up. The car came out of Alabama where the previous owner did not need a heater. Note: There is a small dent below the front bumper on the bottom edge of the body. I presume the previous owner probably bumped into a parking stop. There are a very few paint touch ups around the car. Overall it is a shiny gorgeous paint job. The exterior body color is named Lotus White. it is a soft white with a slight green cast. Very pretty.
Payment: $500 down is required within 48 hours upon purchase through Pay Pal. The balance is due within 7 days.
Shipping or Pick Up is the responsibility of the buyer.
This can be arranged through a national car carrier or you can transport it yourself. Since it is an antique show car, I would recommend hauling by trailer. Damage during shipping will be the responsibility of the new purchaser or their hauling contractor.
As Is: The car is in very good shape, but is sold as is.
