Well it looks like it's time to sell my Jensen. I am selling because I have 2 classic cars and need something newer with A/C for the Arizona summer which is coming soon.
I shot a video and did a walk around with some driving so you can see it better than the pictures. It's in 4K and on Youtube >> https://youtu.be/KNERwR4XkOg
I bought this last year at an auction. It had been rotisserie restored 5 or 10 years ago by a car collector. The collector got old / senile and lost his collection of 20 cars. There wasn't any documentation on the car unfortunately. But it's possible to track him or his family down to get it, which I haven't tried yet. The car shows 25k miles which I am not sure if that is original. The auctioneer said it had 74k and the title is a box C as the mileage is unsure. After purchase I spent $10k on the mechanics (brakes, fuel, carbs, cooling, electrics, etc.). Now it runs great. My mechanic was impressed how clean the body was. There is very little rust on the car. The only spots are a couple bubbles under the paint. Underneath it is very clean. I have an uninstalled vintage air A/C system too, and an old Volvo radio.
Things I would fix: the overdrive isn't working, tach & oil temp aren't working, gas gauge is high, wipers stopped working recently, burns some oil (doesn't smoke), replace carpet and a some door interior panels to make it show better. The car has rear side markers which is not correct, and is a mystery as to why it has them. It doesn't look like the quarter panels were replaced.
The interior and exterior color are correct. This is a very clean driver. Looks perfect from 5 or 10 feet away. If you are local, you are welcome to come take it for a test drive. This car is 55 years old and is being sold AS-IS.
