The car has approximately 125K undocumented miles but runs good with no major issues. With the four speed transmission, it can run down the highway between 55-60 miles without issue. The steering is tight for a car of this age and it has proven to be very reliable over the years. I have really enjoyed this car but it is time to move on to other hobbies.
The following updates have been made during my time with car:
The interior is in great shape but does not appear to be a true period representation of what it originally came with. Oil leakage is minimal as is typical with most old Volvo. The engine is very complete and clean.
Items to be tended to on the car include non-working horns ( a set of refurbished horns come with the car), minor cracks in the paint only around the door locks and a small area in front of the driver. The rest of the paint is really nice and shiny across the car. Several of the side windows have minor scratches and the drivers roll down window developed a crack over the winter but should be very easy to replace as it is totally flat.
As the car is so rare in the US and it is one of the better cars around requiring minimal restoration work. An optional original balsa wood full size surfboard and wooden skis can be made available for $850.
