1965 Volvo 1800S Description

A 1965 Volvo 1800S coupe, chassis number 13,845. Clear Wisconsin title in my name. Car received a full nut and bolt restoration about two years ago. I will list the details of the restoration below. Minor tasteful modifications performed mostly aimed at performance/driveability. The exterior of the car was not repainted at that time as it shows very well for an old paint job. Their is evidence of some filler in the rockers and the passenger side rear wheel arch. (see pic) One notable ding on passenger side fender under antenna. (see pic) Paint does have crazing and many small chips again showing its age. Overall I believe it has a nice even patina that suits the car well. Some of the trim has minor pitting and dings. Glass does have small pits and light scratches. Engine runs very strong and engine compartment is extremely detailed, transmission shifts smoothly and O/D goes in and out well. Chassis is also highly detailed. (see pics) Interior is all new and shows exceptionally well. Only things not currently working on car are oil temp gauge and clock. Likely from not enough use the car does leak just a little from rear main and trans. O/D unit. Both small leaks typical of these cars. Car has less than 3,000 miles since restoration. Included in sale is an original owners manual, some workshop books and numerous spares including an entire closed PCV system if desired/needed to be fitted. A huge Folder with receipts going back to the early 80's is also included, this car appears to have spent most of its life in the Missouri area. Overall I would say this car is a better than average driver with show quality engine, interior and chassis, one could do an exterior repaint and a little trim work and have an extremely nice show car but most people seem to like the exterior patina as is.
