I am posting this for a friend who does not do e bay!DO NOT ask me questions about this car! I have walked by the car a few times, that's it! Contact info is at end of the ad. Again, not my car. Ad is written by the owner of the car.
Clean, well maintained,1993 Volvo 240. Original paint!
This carhas had lots of work doneby a master mechanic for my son. My son has still not shown the responsibility or earned the moneyfor this vehicle, so it is up for sale. Owned for 3 years, daily driven most of this time. Apx 250k
Interior looks to be original and it's a 9 out of 10 but is 24yrs old and hasa few flaws. The backseat doesn't look like it was everused! There are no cracks in the plastic typically found on these cars.
When I purchased the car, It had a cracked exhaust manifold. The mechanic ended up taking the engine out to fix that and replaced several parts while he was there.
New exhaust manifold gasket
New head gasket (done as preventative maintenance, car did NOT overheat or have bad head gasket),
New head bolts
New plugs and wires
New tires
New tail light lenses
New headlight bracket
New catalytic converter
New exhaust
New timing belt
New timing cover
New water pump
Fresh oil change and tune up
New Bosch battery
new o2 sensor
All repairs were done as preventative maintenance as a first car for my son.
The odometer does not work, thepartto repair it is included. The fuel gauge does not work, but the parts are supplied with the car, including the Volvo specific tool to fix it. Dent in drivers rear door, other than that it is in great shape. Car was parked when tags expired. It looks like the car might be "grey market" as the vin does not show in the data base on ebay. See pic of vin on door jamb and see for yourself.
Solid thud when doors close. Runs and drives great, fun and safe to drive. A/C and heat work . DIRECT ALLQUESTIONS to joshwcreel@yahoo.com, call or text 1817 637 2351, I work days, so text might be better before 4pm.
