1990 Volvo 240 Description

This is a great project for all you Volvo enthusiasts out there!
I have enjoyed this vehicle for going on three years now and she has never given me any problems until recently. The fan belt unexpectedly snapped. I let her sit for a little over a month in my driveway before I was able to fix her. I then replaced all of the accessory belts, don't know if it was from sitting for so long in my driveway or what, ut the kickdown cable has seized. I disconnected the kickdown cable from the throttle body and continued to drive it for another four to five months (I only drove it around town and never over 50mph) because of this issue the transmission will not shift into its highest gear making interstate speed impossible. I bought a new kickdown cable, ut I have not installed it. My husband and I are moving to Alaska at the end of March and I really just don't want to fool around with her. In order to replace the cable you have to either take apart the dash or drop the oil pan and I really do not have the time to do this. She was running fine last week, ut the other day when I tried to back her out of my driveway she cut off. The engine will roll over, ut will not fire. I haven't tried to diagnose this problem yet. My guess is that it could be fuel pump/ fuel system related. Then again I'm not really sure like I said I just don't have the time to fix her.
She served me well and I hope whoever buys her can give her a new life.
Also the windshield is cracked and the radio does work but was making terrible popping and screeching noises occasionally so my husband took the fuse out. The cruise control was disconnected by a previous owner.
