Here we have a super clean example of of one of those renowned high mileage Volvos!! This 144E comes with full documented history from new. I purchased it last year for use on a TV commercial the ended up not happening. The car has had one owner from new before that. Delivered new as a European delivery export model in Sweden on 1st Oct, 1971. (Factory bill of Sale for $2830 included). Also comes with the original warranty card, warranty book and owner's manual. Shipped from Antwerp (Belgium) to Los Angeles and imported on 15 Dec 1971. (Documented). Owned for 45 years by the original owner (an engineer who did many interesting mods to the car). Included is a large stack of invoices (by year) of all the service history as well as numerous diagrams, mods and notes. This car has 321450 miles and still runs well. Volvo "High Mileage Club" certicates from 100,000. 200,000 and 300,000 miles. Extra service manuals and a a few small parts. Clear California title in my name. A very solid rust free California car with mostly original paint with brushed on touch ups. This is a great car for the classic Volvo enthusiast. 46 year old E model with fuel injection. The engine on this car was totally rebuilt at 319,034 miles (2416 miles ago). 28th Dec 2011 invoice for $3625). New pistons, main bearings, rod bearings. New camshaft with bearings. New intake and exhaust valve guides. New rear main seal and all engine gaskets.
