1991 Volvo 240 Description

This is a rare 1991 Volvo 240 sedan, silver with black cloth interior that has been exceptionally well kept. It's an all-around great looking vehicle with original low mileage as it was my grandfather’s and he did not drive it for very long distances.

The car drives and rides like a dream. Loaded with everything power, all new tires, and only 99k original miles.It’s been fully servicedat my local Volvo dealerincludingthe following have been replaced and installed: All four tires,brand new brakes and brake pads,driver tail light assembly, coolant thermostat, spark plugs and spark plug wires including the wire from coil to distributor, distributor cap, rotor button, timing belt, front engine seals, set of drive belts, new rotors front and rear, new oil and filter, new air filter, and four brand new hubcaps.

All electronics work and the transmission shifts through all gears smoothly and kick down cable has recently been replaced.The heater works very well and blows out strong.Starts and runs perfect, all systems are functional.A/C is fully operational.It has a full spare tire. Price I’m asking for is well worth it. Exhaust system is clean and in very good condition. The tailpipe needs a bracket as there is a bit of rattling coming from the tailpipe because of the missing bracket. This is common on the 240’s.

The car is equipped with a very strong 2.3 liter engine.The engine sounds, runs and feels smooth and provides abundant power. The engine is very economical.Thetransmission works perfectly. The interior is in excellent condition.The engine compartment is very clean. This Volvo (like most other Volvos) rates very high in safety. The car has been very well kept.The trunk has great cargo capacity and is very clean and roomy.

Many options that were available for the 240 are included on this car including, heated seats, am/fm stereo.I’ve installed a brand new Panasonic stereo system with hands free for phone (receiving and calling out) and for listening to music from your iPhone.

I am a true Volvo enthusiast and have had 4 Volvo 240s.As mentioned it was passed on to me by my grandfather so have now decided to list it.Only 99k miles!!
