1993 Volvo 240 Description

Final year 1993 Volvo 240. I purchased it from the second owner as a graduation present in 2015 for my son, who was born in 1993. It had approximately 128k at that time. My son drove it less than two miles to work any day he couldn’t use his bike. He’s also driven it on a trip from Richmond to Asheville NC, and several trips to Washington DC and Charlottesville. Recent work includes:

I have all records back to 2008. The car has been well maintained with regular oil changes. The body was in very good condition when I gave it to my son. However, he parked regularly under a tree that dripped sap and rarely washed it, so the paint is not in good shape. It has baked on sap, scratches, dings and chips. However, with a new paint job, it would look new again.
Interior is in good shape(non smokers). All gauges, odometer, speedometer and clock work. A/C worked two years and was converted 134 Freon, but is not currently working. Heated seats are not working. All power windows work. Car is missing some of the center caps for the wheels. The car has two spare tires and an extra 14” tire.
This has been a well maintained, reliable car. Always starts right up and tracks straight on the highway at 70 mpg. It is also 27 years old, so things can happen. The car is available for inspection in Richmond prior to bidding.
Ebay costs money. Serious bidders with at least 10 positive feedbacks please.
