1975 VOLVO 164E
1975 Volvo 164 E Description
Up for sale is a rare 1975 Volvo 164 E. Car runs. Complete car, but rusty. Has been sitting for a few years, and recently got it running. It has no brakes as one of the lines is bad. One of the brake lines seems to be leaking under the car. Have not investigated where. I use the e-brake when moving it around the property. As a result, it will need to be towed. It has a B30 engine and a BW35 transmission. Transmission was a factory rebuilt unit at some point. True mileage is unknown as there were several speedometer heads with the car. As usual, none of the odometers work. My best guess is 130K. AC is there, but missing the belt. Needs a full going through and tune up, and of course the brake work. Will also need a battery as the one in it does not go with the car. The floor mats pictured are not included in the sale. There are some extra parts included with the car as well. As mentioned, it is rusty, but it is complete. These cars are hard to find in any shape. We would like to see it go to a good home. Bought with the intent to restore, but due personal issues, I have decided to sell it. I got the car from a nice lady in NJ, and I was hoping to donate some of the proceeds to her and her cause to help her out.
