1953 Willys Station Wagon 4x4
1953 Willys Station Wagon Description
As mentioned above, this great example of the Willy's Wagon 4x4 has only been out of Colorado since 2014. It has very little rust, and it's surface rust. The front floor pans were replaced years ago and we
elected to leave the flooring as is instead of glopping a bunch of bed liner down hiding everything. The back portion of the wagon is all intact, no rust, and looks to be the original wood runners, but cannot 100% confirm.
Willy's has a very cool spare fuel canister install that we included detailed photos of as even with it being after market we are told, someone did a great job on the fabrication!
Drive train is all in great working order. Motor cranks right up, no smoke, great compression. Three speed manual tranny with lock out hubs. All lights work, wipers are the only thing we have found that do not work.
All glass is good with the exception of a small crack on drivers side vent window. Tires are in great condition with almost no wear, new spare in the back. All factory trim is present. This very cool wagon needs has a ton
of potential regardless of which direction you go with it!
Reserve has been set low on the wagon as we have to many projects going on as usual! This is going to be a great head start if a full restore is what you have in mind. It will also take very little to hit the roads as is and turn some heads!
Buyer is responsible for pick up and or shipping. We will assist you in arranging a shipper if needed. A $250 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close. We have tried to include photos showing a little of everything. Please feel free
to request photos of any specific areas of the wagon and we will be more than happy to take them and send them to you! We will also be posting a short video soon of the wagon starting and running.
Someone will be getting a great old Willy's! Good luck and good bidding!
