I have a 1962 WILLYs Overland Truck/305 Engine /350 Trans axle. The truck cab itself was customized by taking 7" out of the center of the body & slanting it inward. The top was cut and shortened with a new top made out of a 1961 Ford hood. This top can be unbolted & removed to make this an open wheel roadster (really cool). The body was channeled over a 1988 Chevy S10 frame. Truck has new brake lines, master cylinder booster, brake calipers and brake pads/shoes. The rear differential (Chevy 10 bolt) has an Eaton locker Posi-Track with 4:11 gears. The front grill was made using a 46 Chevy grill for the top half & a 51 Packard grill for the bottom half. The 1985 Camaro engine, 305 high output has a mild cam, aluminum intake, new 600 Edelbrock carb, new HEI distributor and homemade exhaust manifolds with side pipes. The trans axleis a 350 TH that shifts good & hard. This truck runs and drives great (fast & fun)! Another nice thing about this hot rod is that there is an endless amount of things you can still do to make this your own truck.
