You are bidding on a real deal "Steel" 1940 Willys Coupe Old School built Dragster. This is an estate auction as its beloved owner passed end of 2016 and as such will be sold to high bidder. The car runs strong fires right up and drives. A Steel bodied Willy's Coupe of this vintage is very rare hard to find.


The Details;


The steel body is steel and looks awesome from any angle. It was painted many years ago in Purple which has the Vintage Old School dragster look everyone craves. There are blems on the car as it shows its age. It has Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson Slicks in the rear. Always a crowd favorite standout at every Street Rod event. Under the hood is the Chevy 454 Cubic Inch Big Block Engine. The Black leather Bucket seat interior is in nice shape see pix for more details. Kept dry its Rock solid underneath.


The Mechanics;


The engine is Chevy 454 Big Block that runs strong mated to an automatic transmission with racing floor shifter. The frame is steel reinforce mods see pix. Upgraded SSBC front disc brakes, believed 9” Ford Rear with Coil Shocks and more. It has MSD 7AL Box electronics. Trunk has fuel cell, wheelie bars, and relocated battery, rear electric fuel pump. Interior has control panel function switches tach & gauges, side of roll cage was cut out for easier entry in and out. Always garage stored indoors. True miles unknown.
