Information:
- The rear seat frame is not original but a modified unit that looks original.
- The early jack that shows on early documents is included. (SEE PHOTO) This jack came with the jack when I got it whether it is original or not is questionable.
- The jeep was bought from a family that had purchased it after WWII near Blue Ridge, GA. I do not have any of the original documents. The jeep is presently located in Spring Hill, FL. We own a home in Georgia and can write a bill of sale with a Georgia address. There is no title required in Georgia for a vehicle this old.
- This was a ground up restoration with every nut, bolt, frame, metal piece sandblasted over the course of fifteen (15) years. 100's of hours of labor was put into this jeep. It was painted about ten (10) years ago and scratches are present. It could use a fresh coat of paint but I liked the patina. I conservatively estimate that the jeep is about 95% correct. I have paid attention to detail and tried to make it as accurate as possible.
- The tires are mismatched and old. I was holding out until the original Goodyear type replacements were available at a reasonable cost but, looks like that is not going to happen. Instead of putting on Firestone I decided to wait.
- The radiator is not the original type but I have an original top and bottom tank from a slat radiator that is included. The present radiator is so nice that I could not bring myself to switch them out.
- The drivers side window has a small crack at bottom, hardly noticeable.
- I will assist in loading but cannot arrange shipping. A five hundred dollar ($500) non-refundable deposit is required at end of auction via Paypal and balance paid within seven (7) business days via bank wire transfer. SOLD AS IS-NO WARRANTIES.
