1952 Willys Jeep Station Wagon
1952 Willys Station Wagon Painted Woodie Description
You are looking at a 1952 Willys Jeep Station Wagon. This Jeep was purchased out of California about 25 years ago and brought to Utah where is has been stored inside in a climate controlled environment. I purchased this vehicle about a year ago and have since performed the following on itReplace fuel tank with new oneInstall new fuel sending unitRebuild carburetorInstall new fuel pumpReplace several fuel linesReplace all 4 brake wheel cylindersReplace brake master cylinderReplace flexible brake linesReplace all brake shoesTurn all 4 brake drumsInstall new horn buttonInstall new hubcapsInstall new Optima 6 volt batteryInstall new battery cablesRebuild radio The jeep now runs and stops just fine. I believe everything is in working order including lights, speedometer, horn, wipers, turn signals, brake lights, heater, fuel gauge, temp gauge, amp gauge, oil pressure gauge, overdrive, etc. Appearancewise it is not a show car, but is in excellent driver condition. The interior is in good condition, seats look great, good rubber floor mat, original wood strips on floor, interior paint appears to be original, solid floors, glass is all good with the exception of some minor de-laminating on the edges. It could use some new weather striping. The exterior has been repainted at some point and could use a good polishing, and there are the usual chips and scratches form use over the years. The body is straight with no dents or signs of any previous body damage. There are some very minor bubbles in the paint mainly on the drivers side, but overall I would say this Jeep is 98% rust free from what I can see. The chrome is in real good condition too, no pitting and still has a great shine to it overall. Tires look good but are probably 25 plus years old. There is no spare tire or jack. This would be a great driver or the perfect candidate for a complete concours type restoration. Being sold where is as is, please email with any questions. I expect a down payment of $2000 at the competition of the auction, the balance paid with in 7 days. Please don't bid if you are not a serious buyer.
