1956 Willys 4X4 wagon Description
WellI'msure no expert onWillys jeeps, but a friend of mine has owned this wagon for almost 20 years. He had big plans to restore it one day, but all that changed, and now Iownit, and am selling it.
Here's what I know, and as honestly as Iknowit...This is what I call a "Barn find".It has been in a storage garage, andsittingidle for the last ten years or so.(the engine turns free)
With the exception of thecarburetor (which got lost), I would say thisvehicleis 100% complete and original.(even the paint is original). It was running and was adailydriver, when parked away into to storage. It is not currently running.(no carburator). This vehicle is somewhat dirty and just how I received it.The jeep is sure notperfect, and a bit of a project, but it could be up and going again in fairly shot order. If I do not sell it "as-is", I will get it running again and re list itaccordingly.
I have tried to take good pictures as to show its overall condition. You can see the typical rust in the photos, but the floors, frame, engine compartment, etc. are excellent. (overall a very solid vehicle).
My opening bid is $3,500.00 with no reserve. This Willyswagon is 60 years old and being sold "as is".
I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than to bedisappointedin anyway.I have a clear and open Colorado title for it.There is also a bucket of spare parts, and the folding rear seats are in the back as well as a nice big parts manual.Now... allthishaving been said... I can't imagine finding a moreoriginalor a more un-molested 4 x 4 wagon like this for the price.
I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. I am honest and dependable, and the winning bidder can count on my help for an easy and smooth transaction...Thanks.Terms of sale...I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
