1971 Alfa Romeo Spider
1971 Alfa Romeo Spider Spider Description
It's italian motoring, at non-italian prices! The 1971, Pininfarina designed and built Alfa Romeo Spider Kamm-tail. The bean counters say that I can't have this and other fun things. Some of the features:
1. Alfa's 1779cc (1750) twin-cam aluminum engine puts out more than 1.24bhp/cubic in. Very recently did the hard work on it: new water pump and front crank seal, both oil filters, and both fuel filters. Of course, the usual stuff (spark plugs, gear oil) are also done. for this year.
2. K&N intake filters are leagues better Wthan the factory round-and-down system (more POER!!). If you're a purist, I kept the original intake box with filters...
3. Daytona free flow exhaust has that italian note, and no required exhaust emissions equipment means the engine can breath freely.
4. A fully functional Spica fuel injection system (Good thermostatic actuator, Cold Start Solenoid, and barometric compensator) While American car makers were offering their cars with tamper proof leaned out carburetors to meet emissions requirements, Alfa owners enjoy the same power as their fully carburetted European counterparts with injection. I'll walk you through the system if you buy the car.
5. Panasport rims with Falken tires. (14")
6. Recently refurbed interior with Vinyl seats
7. Headlight covers
8. New windshield, and accompanying gasket
9. Good top
10. Nardi steering wheel
Car comes with:
1. Spica repair and maintenance manual, and Pat Braden's twin cam companion
2. Top cover for top down motoring
3. Car Cover
All registered, inspected, and insured, so if you're interested, you'll have to experience it to believe it and come drive. Mileage only goes up, I do drive it for fun.
I can help with shipping.
Sorry for the waterspots in the photos and the non-shined tires. I'll make sure they're gone for you, and that the car is properly detailed before you take delivery.
