1971 AMC Javelin Description

1971 AMC Javelin, Body has been put on a Rotisserie lift and chest nut sand blasted, and under carriage coated. Javelin comes from Alabama. No rust or patches. Body is all original. Everything is there to finish except front windshield, and front seats. Motor runs and transmission was recently rebuilt, both are out of car. Javelin comes with original 1971 build sheet and title will need to be obtained. Alabama did not issue titles in 1971, but title is obtainable with build sheet and bill of sale. 76 thousand original miles and only 2296 models were produced that year. This is the year the body was widened 2 and a half inches to complete in the Trans-Am race. It has the original beauty rings and center caps, and steal wheels in excellent condition. Javelin has been stored in heated garage since purchasing it over 10 years ago. The Engine is a 343, 290 horsepower.
