1969 AMC AMX 401 ci. Strip/street car

1969 AMC AMX Description

Up for sale is a beautiful 1969 AMX Street/Strip car with a 401 ci. in it. The car runs strong and has recently had some freshening up. The car runs low 11 et's at the track but has mostly been driven to amx meets and shows. Car has full interior-original dash and gauges. All lights still work for night driving. Here's a list of what has been done to it, all receipts are available.
-401 with standard crank and rods, TRW flat top pistons, total seal rings, ARP Rod bolts, Comp cams double roller timing chain, innovaters west fluid damper, CSI electric water pump, 71 dogleg heads with mild porting, 1.687 exhaust stainless steel valves and 2.08 intake stainless valves with bronze guides, internal oiling mod, reed cams flat tappet cam, valve lift .554 ex. .560 in. @ 1.60, duration 254 in. 259 ex. ARP BB chevy rocker studs with 1.6 roller rockers, Comp mech lifter, Reed cams duel springs, reed retainers, reed locks, comp cams push rods. Offenhauser valve covers.-Up top is a Edelbrock Torker Intake, 1'spacer, and a Holley 850 carb. Carb was just gone through and cleaned up.-Msd billet distributor, MSD HVC coil and wires. MSD digital 6 box with advance/retard switch.-Exhaust has Hooker super comp powder coated long tube headers and 3" pipes going through a set of dynomax race mufflers.-Transmission is a Chrysler 727 with a turbo action cheetah manual valve body, turbo action 3500 stall converter, turbo action shifter. There is a trans cooler plumber up front.-Just rebuilt ford 9" rear end with 4:11 to 1 gear, Caltracs bars, new Espo rear leaf springs, subframe connectors, and comp engineering adjustable shocks. I have the receipts. Trans was also gone through and resealed.-New driveshaft and U-joints tailored by Atlantic driveline.-8 point NHRA approved S&W cage. RJ's 5 point harnesses for both seats.-Removable steering wheel.-Fuel, 7 Gallon summit fuel cell, Holley Blue pump, 1/2" stainless steel braided lines(front and Back).
