Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 Mark III Phase 1

I am listing this car for a friend. After a long career as an auto body repair shop owner, he retired. Having worked in the automotive field most of his working life, he decided to restore a classic car as a retirement project. Since he has a lot of experiencewith British cars, he came upon a low mileage early1965 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8, numbers matching, waking up after 20+ years in storage.

This car was stripped down to the metal and sprayed in the original color, Old English White. An all new blue leather interior was fitted and the rest of the car mechanically re-commissioned. All the mechanical parts were either restored or replaced with new (original spec.)or rebuilt parts.The motor and transmission were not touched as this is a low mileage car and they are operating to spec. A new wire harness, radiator, gas tank and exhaust system were installed.

After enjoying a summer of driving this beautiful Austin Healey, it is being put up for sale to make room for a new retirement restoration project which just became available.
