Up for sale is this beautiful 1956 Bentley S1, ready to drive and enjoy! The prior owner spent a lot of money restoring and upgrading this car to make it trouble free.
The paint was redone at a cost of $10,000. It presents very well, and is deep and holds a nice shine. Silver/black is the classic color scheme for this car and it looks amazing!
The interior was refitted with cream colored leather. It is soft and superb. The only wear is on the driver’s seat a little bit, from getting in and out. It is minor. The headliner was replaced as well. The wood was re-done to a nice standard, very presentable. The carpets were re-done as well, and are very nice. The back seat interior is fit for a king or queen, especially with the fully functioning tray tables.
The radio has been upgraded, with a subwoofer system in the trunk. I am told this cost about $10,000.
The tires are modern, wide whitewalls, and let the car handle very well. Modern seatbelts were installed, but can easily be removed. Mileage is about what is listed, however, the odometer has not worked since I owned the car (about three years).
The car has cold air-conditioning, which blows from vents in the back. The air conditioning system is in the trunk. The heat, however, is not connected. I do not drive this car past the fall weather anyways. By the time it gets really cold, it is stored for the winter.
Chrome is mostly original, but looks great. It would be a new owner’s decision to re-do the chrome but I think it looks just fine.
It has a modern ignition system. The car starts every time. Perfectly tuned, no issues. This car is ready to go! I am selling because I am downsizing. I have enjoyed the car for three years.
