1987 BMW 6-Series Description

Up for sale is my super clean, highly maintained, rust free 1987 BMW 635csi. This car is accident free and has had one very nice respray in its original Royalblau Metallic color. It looks terrific. This car is from dry country Colorado and has been meticulously maintained by a very passionate long time owner. With 248,513 miles on the odometer, he drove it daily and sent it in regularly for maintenance. This is indicated by the carfax and the large stack of receipts in my possession.
Everything works correctly on this car. The engine starts easily and settles into a nice smoke free idle. The rebuilt transmission shifts perfectly and the new brakes grab nicely with no shudder or vibration. Steering is nice. The air conditioning has been converted to R134. The original stereo sounds terrific. All windows function correctly. All lights inside and outside work properly. Electric seats function in all directions. It has a rare factory rear window shade. The sunroof opens and closes correctly.
The interior is super clean. It looks as thought the front seats may have been redone at some point because they are in outstanding condition with no signs of wear. The color is original. It has some very nice period correct cocoa floor mats that are color matching. No unusual smells. It is a very nice driving experience.
The body is very straight and rust free. Super clean. The underside is dry as is the tool kit in the trunk. You can look for a long time and not find a 6 Series as clean, straight and dry as this one. The paint job is very nice and has a good shine.
This car has the original wheels with recent Pirelli tires and a recently purchased set of Style 42's with new 17" tires. The Style 42's have a slight vibration around 50 miles and hour that goes away at 53 mph. I have not investigated this further.
Do not be afraid of the mileage! The car is super clean and runs terrifically. I took it on a 110 mile trip this past weekend and it performed flawlessly.
