Selling my beautiful 1976 BMW 2002. 2.0L 4 cylinder engine freshly rebuilt less than 1500 miles agoand has a dual port Weber Carburetor! Paired with a very smooth 4 speed manual transmission. Car runs and drives very well and the new suspension makes it handle like a dream. Also has the factory sunroof that has all new seals and cranks very smoothly.
This car is extremely clean and solid. Check pictures for full view of underneath. Not a single speck of rust on the whole vehicle. Body is in excellent shape and has only had one paint job since the original. The Pearl White paint was done about a year ago and looks great!
Has disc brakes in the front with drums in the rear and comes to a stop very quickly. Nice original 13" rims that have been painted red with tires that have a good amount of tread left on them.
All the gauges, lights, heat, radio, etc work. Aftermarket seats are extremely comfortable and hold you tight through the turns. Made of cloth material rather than vinyl, keeping you cool during the warm summer months. Dash is in excellent shape with no cracks or fading. Has upgraded stereo system as well. Missing right tail light lense. Car comes with original trim and some other parts as well.
This is a very nice car in need of a new home. While it is very original, it has also had all the mechanical systems gone through and/or replaced with new parts, guaranteeing reliability and performance. Clean title and current registration as well as recent smog. It is a blast to drive and a true head-turner. Don't miss your chance to own the last year available of such an iconic car.
