Runs great for doing a simple tune up. Carbs work surprisingly well but a weber swap is always best. no smoke, good power. Tranny shifts perfect. breakswork and were new when parked but needs restoration. power windows work, radioworks, gaugeswork, i have not touched heater or a/c but they are complete and Iwould be surprised if they didn'twork. EXTREMLY COMPLETE CAR. only missing parts I'vefound are front bumper bracketsare missing and trim plugs for grab handles. the grab handle mounts are NOS. Trim is nice glass is perfect chrome is great. this is the perfect resto car.
Thesmall rust through is in hood jamb lt and rt. A small hole on outer rocker cover lt and rt. Inner is perfect. And spare wheel tub has 3 very small spots. That'sit period. Surface spots are present but not cancer at all. rear seat leather is sun baked. Front seats are like new, carpet is great. Trunk is great.
Car was in a desert climate its whole life and was put in dry storage in 1995 because theowner was going to fix the front bumper area. The black front spoiler is an NOS BMW part. i did a clean up and a simple tune up and new fluids and it runs great and drives good for not having a restoration. amazing original condition. its so rust free and what'sthere is an affordablefix compared to so many i see. this car saves thousands if not tens of thousands and a better car in the end. i took photos of every bad part i can find and all the good parts too. floors and shock towers and rails and rockers are great. absolutely amazing. this car deserves an amazing restoration. so complete and ready to get done. don'tmiss an opportunity to grab a great project. Car came with all factory manuals and service tags and registrations. i searched for years to find a car in this stage. but timing is poor for me.
