1926 Bugatti Other Description
WellI'msure no expert on kit cars but I am selling this 1926 Bugatti "type 35 A" for a ninety year old friend of mine. Her son passed away and this car was his first love. This is what I call a "Barn find". It has sat Idle for the last year or so in her garage. It's a bit dusty and dirty from sitting, but it's just how I recieved it.Here's what I can tell you, and as honestly as I know it. This car may require a new battery, and fresh fuel, etc.It is not currently running, (but was running perfectly when last parked). She lost the keys so no keys are available. If I do not sell it "as-is", I will take a Saturday and addressthe battery, fuel,& key issues and get it up and running again. Then I will relist it accordingly. This car was professionallybuilt and has 280 miles on it. I rode in it about a year ago, and it is very powerful. and may be a poor choice for a youngerdriver.
The engine is a
1914cc and has twin empi carbs with a big Bore kit.(barely broke-in).It has a performance exhaustas well as a big cam andall the best goodies. It also has a EMPI shiftier, Disc-brakes, braided stainless brake lines etc. It has a 12 volt bosh performance alternator. The tires are new. Unlike most kits, this car has 5 lug wheels.I have the front fenders that come with it.This car is old and being sold as-is...I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointedin any way. I havea clearandopen Colorado title for it. It is titled as a 1926 Bugatti.
My opening bid is $3,000 with noreserve. I have tried to take good pictures so you can see its overall condition. With some cleaning and detailing, it would sure look nice again.Now... all this having been said... I can'timaginefinding a nicer, or a more professionally built bugatti kit car like this for the price.
I
am honest and dependable, and the winning bidder can count on my help for a easy and smooth transaction. I think that whoever ends up with it will be very happy with it...Just my thoughts...Thanks.Terms of sale...I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
