The Invicta Custom was the sporty version of the 1960 Buick. It was intended to compete with the 4 seat Thunderbird and the new Pontiac Ventura trim option. The custom package was available on Invicta coupes, convertibles and the 2 seat station wagon. The package consisted of leather bucket seats, matching door panels, center console and the "Invicta Custom" badge on the front fenders. The cost of the custom package was $295.63, which would explain the fact that the customs are so rare. There were 5,236 custom convertibles produced in 1960. It boasted a 401 CID engine with 325HP.
I've owned this beautyfor 26 years, having it restored in 2001.I purchased it from seller who had the car shipped to PA fromCalifornia. It has been garage kept and covered. It has beendriven minimally for the past five years due to mylife circumstances. I have many NOS parts that I've acquired over the years that couldbe made available to the purchaser only. These include NOS exhaust pipes, NOS muffler, plus much more.
