1970 Buick Riviera Gran Sport Description

For sale is a original 1970 Buick Riviera Gran Sport (GS) with only 75,000documented miles.
I purchased the car in 1992. I am the second owner of the car.
There were only 3500 Gran Sportsproducedout of 37,000 1970 Riviera's made.
The only reason I am selling the car is to help my son for money to go to school. When he was four he would say "Dad lets go to the slush store in the Blue Buick. He would of received it later o, ut he needs the money for school.
The car is rust free and in excellent condition with about 60percentoriginal paint and original black vinyltop in excellent condition( special Riviera Color Azure Blue)
The 70 Riviera wasuniquein the fact that the the designer of the 70 Riviera Bill Mitchell had been to France and decided to give the 70 a frenchlook. ( that notion accounted for the skirted rear-wheel cut outs and heavier rear aspect and sweepspear sidemoldings.
The 70 had two kinds of fender skirts( I have a set of the rare skirt, that open the rear wheel wheels more that go with the car) see the photos attached
Another fact is that the new Buick 455 motor that went into the A body's GS -455 and the 1970 Riviera, he former listed the engine at 360 horses while the Riv got a 370 rating. Both shared the Stage I high -lift cam, igger valves and stiffer valve springs and low -restriction dual exhausts.
The 70 Riv was not popular at the time it was built, ut is now getting the attention it deserves, ecause of itsuniquefeatures.
The GS had a special suspension and limited slip rear end.
A non GS just sold for around $18,000, on't miss getting this rare car
the car has factory air,PS, B's, ower windows, nd power seat.
